An address to this vicious world!

We all know that our life-span in this world is very very short as compared to the eternal life, i.e. life-after death. How does it sound to address it as under?

"O vicious world! be away from me; why do you come in front of me like this? Have you fallen in love with me or do you want to allure me? God forbid that I may be allured and tempted by you and your pleasures. It is not possible; go and try your allurements on somebody else. I do not desire to own you and do not want to have you. The life of pleasures that you offer is of very little duration. There is no real importance in what you offer, the desire of holding you is an insult and a humiliation to sober minds. Sad is the plight of those who want to acquire you, they do not provide for hereafter, they have to pass through a long journey over a very difficult road towards a sad destination".

Our welfare do not lie in our having enormous wealth and numerous children, but it rests in our being highly educated and forebearing, and in our being proud of our obedience to God. If we do a good deed then thank Lord for it, and if we commit a sin then repent and atone for it. In this world there is a real welfare for two kinds of people; one is the person who, when commits a sin atones/repents for it and the other is the person who is anxious to do good as much as possible.

Take care and do not pray to Lord saying, " I pray Thee to protect and guard me from temptations and trials", for there is none who is not tempted and tried. But beseech Him to guard you against such temptation as may lead you towards wickedness and sins. Though He knows them better than even they know themselves ( because He is the Creator ), yet those trials and tests are for the purpose of their realising and knowing those deeds which merit reward or which deserve punishment. There are some people who love to have children and there are some people who simply crave after wealth and hate poverty.

There are many educated people (in this world) who have ruined their future on account of their ignorance of religion. Their knowledge did not prove any avail to them.

More wonderful than man/woman himself/herself is that part of his/her body which is connected with his/her trunk with muscles. It is his/her heart ( mind ). Look what good and bad tendencies it is a source of. On one hand it hold treasures of knowledge and wisdom, and on the other it is found to harbour very ugly desires. If a man/woman sees even a tiny gleam of success then greed forces him/her to humiliate himself/herself. If he/she gives way to avarice then inordinate desires ruin him/her; if he/she is disappointed then despondency almost kills him/her. If he/she is excited then he/she loses temper and gets angry. If he/she is pleased then he/she gives up precaution. Sudden fear makes him/her dull and nervous and he/she is unable to find a way out of the situation. During the times of peace and prosperity he/she becomes careless and unmindful of future (i.e., life-after!). If he/she acquires wealth then he/she becomes haughty and arrogant. If he/she is plunged in distress then his/her agitation, impatience and nervousness disgrace him/her. If he/she is overtaken by poverty then he/she finds himself/herself in a very sad plight; hunger makes him/her weak and over-feeding harms him/her equally. In short every kind of loss and gain unbalances his/her mind!!!
